Using Kaelith’s genetic material, Neo-Osiris created Iris in a controlled lab environment, infusing her with fragments of Luminara’s volatile magic during her gestation. Unlike Kaelith, Iris wasn’t given a choice in her creation or her purpose—she was designed to be the perfect weapon, a controlled version of what Neo-Osiris had lost.

Growing up in a sterile lab, Iris was treated more like an experiment than a person. She was pushed to her limits, subjected to painful enhancements and endless training to ensure her obedience. However, the Luminara magic coursing through her veins was unpredictable, often behaving in ways Neo-Osiris couldn’t control. These anomalies led to harsh punishments and further experimentation, fueling a deep sense of loneliness and resentment within her.

When Iris learned of Kaelith, her "original," she felt conflicted—was Kaelith her rival, her enemy, or the missing piece of herself? During a mission to capture Kaelith, Iris faced her for the first time. Instead of a battle, their encounter ignited a fragile connection. Kaelith saw the pain in Iris, recognizing a version of herself trapped in a cruel system. For Iris, meeting Kaelith awakened a longing for freedom she had never known.

Now a fugitive, Iris is caught between the shadow of Neo-Osiris and the hope of forging her own path alongside Kaelith.
