Ayame Ren was only six when a government raid in Ashen tore her from her family. Taken to a secret Neo-Osiris facility, she became part of the "Obedience Program," designed to create perfect, emotionless soldiers. Stripped of her memories and identity, Ayame was subjected to brutal conditioning and relentless training. By the age of eight, she had mastered the katana, wielding it with deadly precision. Augmented with Luminara-inspired enhancements, she became faster, stronger, and colder than any human could naturally be.

As "Swift," Ayame grew into one of Neo-Osiris's most efficient assassins, feared for her unmatched skill and unwavering loyalty to her handlers. Her missions were executed with chilling precision, leaving no room for hesitation or remorse. Yet, buried deep within her, faint echoes of a life before her captivity began to surface—dreams she couldn’t explain and flashes of a sister she didn’t remember.

When Ayame is sent to eliminate Kiyomi Ren ("Silk"), her resolve begins to crack. Something about Kiyomi stirs the dormant humanity within her, triggering fractured memories of their bond. As her carefully constructed identity unravels, Ayame is faced with a choice: remain a weapon for Neo-Osiris or rediscover the person she was meant to be.
